$800,000 Wasted by Florida State Officials

Despite over 3,400 people signing a petition demanding that Wild Waters be preserved, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection announced they will be demolishing Wild Waters soon.

According to this article posted in the Ocala Star Banner, http://ocala.com/news/20150612/fun-new-additions-at-wild-waters, $800,000 was spent on Wild Waters in repairs & improvements.

That money will be TOTALLY wasted by the DEP and Florida Park Service if & when they destroy this historic Water Park.  Much more tax payer money will be wasted in demolition costs.

Why the Florida Park Service Closed Wild Waters Water Park

No Description

The reason why the DEP and Florida Park Service want this historic Water Park gone is because they want a more “Park Like Setting” as shown in the video above and don’t care what citizens of this state who pays their salaries want

As mentioned in the Star Banner article “Wild Waters days are numbered”, the proposed changes to sister park Silver Springs will run between $15 million and $20 million, so if there’s that kind of money available for Silver Springs, then there is plenty of money available to restore and preserve Wild Waters. http://www.ocala.com/article/20140403/ARTICLES/140409894

This water park was generating revenue and providing jobs and could generate a lot more revenue & jobs if it were fully restored.

Evidence that citizens rights have been violated by Florida State officials including forcing plans opposed by the public, refusal to allow a referendum on a public issue, official State Advisory group violation of stated mission, conflict of interest, violation of neutrality, lack of representation and violations of Democracy can be viewed at WildWatersFans.com website.

Tell Rick Scott what you think about $800,000 being wasted by the Florida Park Service and DEP and democracy being violated by Florida State Officials.

Governor Rick Scott raised $100 million to get himself re-elected but has done nothing for the people of Florida.
